Jana's place was an oasis in the middle of the city. The porch and two outside sitting areas were peaceful. It is in a quiet neighborhood off of a main avenue. It happened to be 5 minutes away from my mother-in-law whom we were visiting, which was great. The beds were comfortable, the linen clean, and the kitchen stocked with the basics. I did not give the review an excellent value because California is so expensive, but it was a great value. Jana was responsive and helpful. I would definitely go back!

Jana's Bluff Bungalow home is a real gem. It was spotlessly clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. I felt at home the moment I walked through the front door. Jana's a superb host and has decorated the house in a graceful, eye-catching style. I hope that I can stay there again in the near future. I give this place my highest recommendation

Jana’s place was wonderfully clean and very accommodating for our two couples. The front exterior of the house could use some TLC, as well as the front yard. Similarly, the exterior of the back of the house could use some attention, whereas the backyard itself was well kept. Overall, a positive experience at this Airbnb bungalow

Great Place
The house was clean and ready to go upon our arrival. Backyard is awesome, perfect for our dog to run around and relax after long days out and about. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. Lots of privacy. Close to the beach, restaurants, etc. Garage to park vehicle. We would love to return in the future.

Jana's place was absolutely perfect for our vacation! The house was exactly as described, the beds were comfy, the indoor space was roomy and the outdoor space was beautiful! Jana was super responsive, friendly and very helpful! I would definitely stay here again!

Worth a second stay
Pros: Very clean environment. Use of the garage included. All the basic kitchen items included like salt, pepper, sugar coffee, tea and decent knives, laundry detergent etc. Cons: The patio had no screening so bugs can enter in if you open the windows or doors. Limited electric outlets- bring a power strip along. The street and driveway are steeply sloped which made it a challenge for my 90 year old mother to get in and out of the car with her walker. I will gladly return. Jana was a responsive host.

This is a wonderful place to stay! The view of the sunrise is amazing, and the house is well appointed and spotless. It's nice having such a well-equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable, and I loved the backyard. Neighborhood is nice and quiet. Buccaneer beach is a short drive away. I didn't have enough time to visit all that is to see in Oceanside, and plan to stay here again with some friends later in July when we will be in town for Comic Con. I'd recommend this place to any of my friends. All in all, a delightful place to stay, very homey.

This was the perfect combination of location and accommodations for this busy family of boys! The backyard was so delightful we were able to throw a football and play bags. We grilled out on the patio and ate in the sunroom. It was so lovely! sleep accommodations were spot on and the house was clean. We used the laundry so we didn't come home with any dirty laundry. The access and location was ideal. LOVED it!

Great property, great host
We spent a week at this property during spring break. We had many outings planned in the SD area. The location was great for us as we didn’t want to be right in the city, and wanted to be close to Legoland. The house is comfy, cozy, and there are several well thought out details throughout - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, coffee, sugar, creamer, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and a few more…! We’ve been to many places that have none of this. The host checked in with us, and also had a delivery sent asap because the home was low on toilet paper. She was very accommodating during our entire trip and also offered us a late checkout, which we very much appreciated! Overall we had a lovely stay and if we are ever in the area again we will stay here. PS the sunrise from the sunroom/backyard is gorgeous!

Cozy house with great garden
The Bluff Bungalow is a nice house in a great neighbourhood with a beautiful porch and garden. Jana is a wonderful, caring, helpful host and lets us feel welcome. Groceries are just around the corner, as well as dining and shopping areas. The beds are very comfortable. It was so good to have some complimentary like body wash, shampoo, and coffee/tee in the house when we arrived. We will be back!

Minnesota Escapees from Winter
My husband and I spent two weeks in the house. Our son and family live nearby, so it was easy to get together with them. We've been to San Diego many times and really love it. This was our first time in Oceanside. The house was great. It is as the pictures show. Very homey and comfortable. Our host was in contact frequently and let us know she was always available for questions. We recommend the property!

Great place to stay with dogs! The backyard is perfect. House is cute and beds were comfortable. Third bedroom is perfect for an office if you need to work while you stay here. Jana is a great host and very responsive. She is also the first proactive host I’ve had, which made it an easy stay. All-in-all a great experience!

This was my first experience with AirBnB and we absolutely loved our stay in this house. It was clean and had everything necessary for the visitors (bedsheets, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion, all the necessary utensils, pots and pans, tea kettle, coffee maker and much more). It's located in a quiet neighborhood but not far from the ocean and shops (in case you need ones). The house doesn't have an AC but it was bearable if you open the windows and they also provided standing fan in each bedroom. This house is very family friendly with nice green backyard and a spacious grill area to enjoy your meal outside. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and will come back again next summer.

Rented this lovely property for a couple of days. Super clean and well-appointed house. Great private outdoor seating area that benefited from a wonderful cross breeze. Spent most of our time outside or on the enclosed patio. Fully fenced yard for the dog was much appreciated. The house had no air conditioning that we could tell, but despite it being mid-summer, the fans with windows open were enough to keep the place cool. Beds and sheets were very, very comfortable. As with many Airbnb rentals, the administration costs and fees on this place make it a better bargain for longer term stays. I have learned generally, the cleaning fees for a majority of properties are designed to discourage short-term travelers. Would definitely recommend and consider it again for longer-term stay.

Great AirBnB. Close to the beach and grocery stores. Clean, easy check in. Well stocked, and quick communication. The sunroom was a great little gathering place. The only thing that was a slight inconvenience was that the road and driveway are very steep, and the driveway is big enough for two cars, but the approach of the driveway is narrow and can be difficult to maneuver, especially considering the sidewalk is raised up/uneven and can jolt the car a bit. We were still able to park two cars in the driveway.

This place is perfect. So close to the beach, very organized, cleanly, and overall really cute. We had a bachelorette party there and we loved the little backyard area to hang out and sunbathe. The hosts were more than perfect and I highly recommend staying here!

Bluff Way is a lovely home situated nearby stores, food and the beach. It has easy access with a very comfortable setting. The enclosed porch was a hit hangout for our family. Everything was clean and fresh and worth the stay. There’s no view, but for a family gathering it’s perfect.

Loved it! I’m an ultra-cyclist and had a race that started at the pier in Oceanside and needed a place close to the start line. This place was perfect. Near every location I needed to go to, even a restaurant down the road, walking distance. Right amount of space for me and my crew. Lovely patio to rest and relax. Although no AC temperature kept temperate when all the windows were opened…nice breeze due to its proximity to the ocean. I am planning to do this race next year and guess where I’ll be staying 😁

This home is beautiful and spacious and the decor is perfect! We loved the beautiful back yard and patio area- plenty of amazing outdoor space! Beds were comfy and it was great to have a trundle bed for the kids! Outdoor games provided kept them entertained and it was nice to have a washer and dryer!

10/10 would definitely recommend. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. The house is clean and you pretty much have everything you need for preparing a meal in the kitchen. Water pressure is good too. Host are very nice and they responses pretty quick.

Great space, fit our whole family and in a comfortable neighborhood with nice views of town. Clean and well set up with small amenities likes shampoo and conditioner in the showers. The neighborhood was very calm and quiet. The house was typical for the area. Check in and check out was seamless.
We had a great time, and the house was a huge part of the experience. We spent a lot of time in the back yard, it was very nice.

My son, niece, and nephews had a lovely time. And surprisingly my dog actually had the best time. It’s the first time I’ve taken him. Good little house with lots of spaces to relax in and everything we needed close by.
